Torrents... ?!? - Masti Area

I feel that this section of the board is obsolete. Torrentz suck.. I prefer 100% pure download. Not 100% download and 248% upload....

It is best to get torrents at a specialzed site, only for torrents. Not in a warez forum...

What do you guys think? :innocent:

yeah i agree, but i still think we should keep the torrents section. I use it as a last resort, so it does come in useful sometimes.

Torrents mean you have to UPLOAD to download. If you have, like me, limitations on your bandwith, torrents aren't the best way to download. I had 30 gigs download and 5 gigs upload / month.

If I download lets say a game, 1 Gb from a torrent, I also upload 0,5 -> 1,5 Gb !!

That is unacceptable for me. If I download the same game from an FTP, I only have a pure, 100% download and ZERO upload.

So next time you think about badmouthing someone, just because he want to make a suggestion or tries to speak his own mind... think again!

Different torrent app's allow you to adjust your upload/download ratio. Im not sure which one it is, but i remember seeing that in one before I found uTorrent.

And I have to say, while I usually find everything i need as a web based download, sometimes its easyer to use bittorrent (IE on larger files since i hate split rapidshare downloads, and 90% of everything you find is on Rapidshare).

i Only Seed 100 % up
1 : 1.. and not more
if you upload Full speed you need to get a good client: like Utorrent

yea....lol i didn't mean it in a offensive way

and if you use the older version of bitlord......

it allows you to download at your download speed without having to upload anything
